Hastings college is developing a film club in conjunction with www.filmclub.org. We were given a brief to design posters advertising the club, one which could be used for any movie, something to be set up as a template. The first (top) design is the first stages of my thought process, looking at the website, I mirrored some of the characteristics and included them in the poster, such as block typefaces and highlighted information. The second (middle) design is a development on the first, using up some more of the white space, and getting some of the red into the left hand side of the screen. My final (bottom) design is something completely different. It offers the client a different perspective, and shows them what it could look like if it was taken to the other extreme.
